Go to the launcher, go to the downloads tab (in the launcher) and select the content, then click Install. This will force the game to generate a new resource.cfg file, which will fix the crashing if it has been caused by an issue with that file. Start the game again, making sure to NOT first start the CC Manager before that. Delete the Resource.cfg file you see in that folder. Then open the launcher you use to start your game. Go to your The Sims 4/Mods folder in your Documents. Now for Sims3Packs, you have to use your launcher.just place them in your Downloads folder which is in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 folder. Try downloading something else like a lipstick and then you can find it easily when creating a new sim, just to check you are doing it right. ![]() ![]() If that doesn't work, then you are either doing something wrong or perhaps you can't find where it is in game, or there is something wrong with the content itself. package files into the Packages folder and they should work in game. While still in the Mods folder, create a new folder called Packages. Click on Enable Custom Content and Mods, along with Script Mods Allowed based on the mod youve. Get the resource.cfg file and place it in the Mods folder. Navigate to the Options menu under the Other tab. Unzip it (try doing "extract here" or "unzip here", might work better). ![]() Go to My Documents, then open Electronic Arts, then open The Sims 3Ĭreate a folder called Mods. ![]()
